Demand Resignation of UPenn President Liz Magill and Chairman Scott Bok

Demand Resignation of UPenn President Liz Magill and Chairman Scott Bok
The Issue
We are a group of concerned alumni and current students of UPenn who have lost confidence in the current administration and direction the university is heading.
Our beloved institution has charted a long course towards moral relativism, where right and wrong are dictated by the sound of the loudest, and often most hateful, voices on college campuses.
The problem at hand is not new, nor is it the current administration’s fault alone. However, it is evident that this administration is part of a larger trend on college campuses failing to have conviction on what’s important and doing what’s right.
It is only in the stark absence of the basic tenets of what a university is supposed to stand for, academic excellence, free speech, and moral clarity, that we have realized that our campus has drifted so far from its ideals.
The events of the past few weeks, namely the Palestine Writes Festival and the deafening silence after October 7th, have driven the situation to a head. To learn more, please read the Open Letter to Penn President Liz Magill and Marc Rowan’s Letter to the DP.
We demand the resignation of UPenn President Liz Magill and Chairman Scott Bok. We demand the selection of leadership who can stand up to the growing crowd of loud voices on campus to do what is right and intellectually honest.
